On the afternoon of January 24, 2026, Professor Xia Ping, Director of the Department of Social Medicine and Health Service Management of Guangdong Pharmaceutical University, and a four-member entourage visited Songgang People's Hospital to hold an exchange meeting on postgraduate training for public health majors. Zhang Xu, President of the hospital, Wen Zhengwei, Member of the Hospital Party Committee, and several preceptorship instructors attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the hospital summarized the cooperation achievements jointly made by both sides in project research, paper publication and clinical teaching. It stated that the customized cross-departmental and multi-dimensional internship model adopted by the hospital has realized the in-depth integration of public health theoretical knowledge and hospital practical work, effectively improving students’ professional literacy and comprehensive capabilities. It also emphasized that medical-educational collaboration serves as a key driving force for the coordinated advancement of teaching, scientific research and clinical services in the hospital.

Professor Xia Ping and her team recognized the systematic and refined internship teaching management of the hospital, and expressed gratitude for the high-quality practical platform and thoughtful training provided to students by the hospital. Professor Xia Ping proposed that both parties could deepen cooperation in joint curriculum development, co-supervision by joint tutors and expansion of internship bases in the future, further optimize the talent training system, and jointly cultivate more interdisciplinary talents with solid theoretical foundation and strong practical competence for the public health sector.
