On-site Registration and Drug Dispensing Process in Hospital Outpatient Department

Step 1: Complete on-site medical insurance registration at the specialist outpatient clinic (for Shenzhen Medical Insurance participants).

Step 2: Consult the specialist, who will complete diagnosis and medical record information. Participants shall pay the consultation fee in advance with medical insurance credentials (social security card, medical insurance electronic code, etc.).

Step 3: After issuing medical orders for dual-channel drugs in accordance with regulations, the physician shall upload the prescription to the Medical Insurance Electronic Prescription Circulation Platform via pre-verification of prescription, electronic signature and prescription uploading procedures.

Step 4: Participants log in to the WeChat official account "Guangdong Medical Insurance" to check prescription information and complete drug purchase.

Notice for Insurance Participants

1. Prescriptions for dual-channel drugs are valid within 72 hours from the time of issuance by physicians. Participants shall purchase drugs at designated pharmacies or via online channels within the validity period.

2. The current Shenzhen Medical Insurance Electronic Prescription Circulation Platform is only available for participants covered by Shenzhen Medical Insurance.
