Research Focus: Fatty Liver Disease

Has been engaged in clinical work, teaching and scientific research at the Department of Infectious Diseases, The Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University after graduation. In recent years, the practitioner has focused on clinical practice and research of fatty liver disease, and established a non-invasive diagnostic model for chronic hepatitis B combined with fatty liver.

Serves as Chairman of the Hepatitis Special Committee, Guangdong Society of Hepatology; Vice Chairman of the Fatty Liver Special Committee, Guangdong Clinical Medicine Society; Vice Chairman of the Fatty Liver Special Committee, Guangdong Health Management Association.

Has published more than 40 academic papers including 14 SCI papers in recent years, and presided over 7 research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China as well as provincial and ministerial research funds.
