Primary research directions: gynecologic oncology and clinical application of gynecological endoscopic techniques.

Research Achievements: Participated in more than 10 projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Presided over multiple research programs funded by Guangdong Medical Science and Technology Research Fund as well as scientific and teaching funds of Sun Yat-sen University. Published over 40 papers in domestic and international core journals, among which more than 10 are indexed by SCI. Supervised over 30 postgraduate students.

The project Clinical Application of Hysteroscopy Technology won the Third Prize of Guangdong Provincial Health Science and Technology Progress Award in 2000.
