Holds a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Bern in Switzerland, a postdoctoral fellowship from the University of Lausanne in Switzerland, and a Doctor of Surgery from Zhejiang University under the supervision of Academician Zheng Shusen. Has passed Part I–III clinical certification examinations in general surgery jointly administered by the Hong Kong College of Surgeons and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Completed a one-year secondment at the Medical Administration Bureau of the National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China.

Young Chief Scientist of the National High Technology Research and Development Program (863 Program). Presided over 2 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and 1 project under the Zhejiang Qianjiang Talents Program. Has published more than 30 papers in SCI-indexed and core journals. Served as the lead author in drafting documents including the Chinese Expert Consensus on Organ Preservation for Transplantation and the Chinese Clinical Practice Guidelines for Liver Transplantation in Hepatocellular Carcinoma. Authored the monograph Mechanical Perfusion Preservation and Repair of Organs. Long engaged in translational research oriented toward clinical practice.

Academic appointments include National Health Commission organ transplantation unannounced inspection expert, Committee Member of the Special Working Committee on Organ Transplantation under the National Health Commission, and Deputy Secretary-General of the National Quality Control Committee for Transplant Organs.
