Founded on October 1, 1997, Tangxiayong Community Health Service Center is equipped with General Practice, Gynecology, Ultrasound Room, Clinical Lab, Pediatric Healthcare Room, and Immunization Registration & Vaccination Room. It has a total of 28 staff members: 7 general practitioners, 1 TCM physician, 2 gynecologists, 2 public health physicians, 8 community nurses, 1 lab technician, 1 ultrasound physician, 1 pharmacist and 5 other supporting personnel. The center undertakes national basic public health services for Tangxiayong Community and meets clinical treatment demands of local residents.

2.1 Clinical Medical Services
The center delivers diagnosis and treatment in general practice, gynecology and traditional Chinese medicine. It manages various common community illnesses, performs minor general surgical operations, and provides rehabilitation care for patients suffering from severe diseases.
2.2 Public Health Services
1. Personal Health File Establishment: Create personal health records for residents and deliver continuous health management services.
2. Health Education: Conduct multi-form health education campaigns to raise residents’ health literacy.
3. Immunization Services: Provide routine vaccination for children aged 0–6 following immunization schedules, and selected vaccines for adults.
4. Pediatric Healthcare: Offer standardized physical examinations and health guidance for children aged 0–3 within the service coverage area.
5. Maternal Health Management: Carry out early pregnancy screening for women of childbearing age and full-cycle health management for pregnant and lying-in women.
6. Elderly Health Management: Provide annual free physical examinations and regular health management for seniors aged 65 and above.
7. Management for Hypertension & Type 2 Diabetes Patients: Deliver yearly free physical examinations; patients with Type 2 diabetes can receive four free fingertip blood glucose tests per year.
8. Management for Patients with Severe Mental Disorders: Conduct regular health management, assist community service stations in handling emergencies involving patients with severe mental illnesses, and arrange one free physical examination annually.
9. Tuberculosis Patient Management: Screen suspected tuberculosis cases and arrange referral; implement long-term health management for confirmed tuberculosis patients in the community.
10. TCM Health Management Services: Provide a full range of appropriate TCM therapies, and targeted TCM health services for children aged 0–36 months and seniors over 65 years old.
11. Infectious Disease Prevention & Control: Timely report infectious diseases detected in daily diagnosis and treatment as required, and assist disease control institutions in responding to public health emergencies.
12. Active Surveillance of Foodborne Diseases: Promptly report foodborne illnesses identified during routine medical practice in accordance with regulations.
13. Free Contraceptive Distribution: Equipped with self-service and manual distribution counters to provide free contraceptives and relevant consultation for community residents.
14. HIV Prevention & Control: Promote HIV prevention knowledge among residents, and provide HIV-related consultation and referral services.
2.3 Family Doctor Contracted Services
The center offers contract signing, health file establishment, health assessment, intervention, tracking, follow-up and a complete set of public health and basic medical services. On the basis of basic medical care, contracted residents can access personalized proactive health management services, including early health status screening, timely health information notification, categorized targeted services and considerate home visits.
2.4 On-site Specialist Services
Associate Chief TCM Physician Li Yaolong holds clinics at the center every Monday, Tuesday and Sunday from 18:00 to 21:00, specializing in acupuncture, tuina, cervical spondylosis, lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion and related disorders.

The TCM department of Tangxiayong Community Health Service Center is staffed by experienced Physician He Xiumin, who boasts unique expertise in treating common digestive system diseases and preventive TCM care. The center also regularly invites Rehabilitation Medicine Director Li Yaolong to deliver rehabilitation therapies with rich clinical experience in neck, shoulder, waist and leg pain management.
