The "Bao'an Urology Discipline Development Academic Salon" was successfully held in the lecture hall of the new inpatient building of our hospital on November 23. The event specially invited Professor Jinjie, Chief Physician and Doctoral Supervisor, Director of the Institute of Urology, Peking University First Hospital, and Professor Wang Qing from the Urology Center of Bao'an Medical Group. The two experts delivered detailed analyses and targeted suggestions on discipline development led by academic leaders and hospital-level development strategies, and jointly discussed the advancement of minimally invasive urological techniques in Bao'an District. Professor Liu Yueguang from the Urology Surgery Dept of our hospital presented the over ten-year development journey, current achievements and future development plans of the department to all attendees. Vice President Zhang Xu delivered an opening speech, fully affirming the progress made by the Urology Surgery Dept through joint efforts of all staff, expressing gratitude to peers from sister hospitals for their strong support, and expressing expectations for the sustained sound development of urology across Bao'an District.
