The Xingdong Community Healthcare Center established by Shenzhen Bao'an People's Hospital in May 2006 and locate on the second floor of No.389 building, Chuangye 2nd Road, 71 District, Xin'an Sub-district, Bao'an District, with a total area of 4.20 square kilometers. The business area of the community healthcare center is 400 square meters. The community service area extends from Baoshi Road in the east to Guangshen Expressway in the west, from Shangchuan Road in the north to Biansa Road in the south. The scope includes five districts, namely District 68, 69, 70, 71, and 72, as well as residential communities such as the First Chuangye Village, the Second Chuangye Village, and the dormitories in the industrial area. The total population of the community is 48,680, including 6,092 registered residents, 20,357 permanent residents holding residence permits, and 22,231 others.
There are currently 20 health service personnel, including 2 deputy chief physicians, 7 attending doctors, 1 physician, 5 chief nurses, 1 pharmacist, 1 cashier, 1 ultrasound technician, and 1 laboratory technician. It is a non-profit medical, preventive, and health care institution. It is also a designated medical insurance unit in Shenzhen.
The center has general practice clinics, gynecology clinics, traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation clinics, as well as some rooms for planned immunization, maternal and child health care, management of chronic diseases, psychological counseling, and family planning guidance. The services currently provided include: general practice diagnosis and treatment, family doctor services, chronic disease management, planned immunization, women's health care, children's health care, elderly health care, traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation (including acupuncture, massage, cupping, scraping therapy, application of medicinal plasters, medicated bath, auricular pressing, etc.), health education, and family planning guidance.
In accordance with the responsibilities stipulated by the national health administrative departments and local governments at all levels, and under the direct leadership of the Community Healthcare Management Center of Shenzhen Bao'an People's Hospital, after seven years of development, a service team has gradually taken shape. Focusing on general practice diagnosis and treatment, planned immunization, health education, community rehabilitation, maternal health care, and elderly health care, this team provides the residents of Xingdong Community with a new type of medical service that is comprehensive, continuous, coordinated, accessible, and comes with low fees, covering the entire process of medical and health care.
