The Radiology Dept of Shenzhen Bao'an Women's and Children's Hospital is a comprehensive imaging department integrating general X-ray diagnosis, CT, MRI and interventional radiology.
The department has more than ten professional and technical staff, including 1 PhD holder and 5 master’s degree holders; 3 senior professional title holders and 6 intermediate professional title holders. Many radiologists and technicians have long-term working experience in radiological diagnosis and have published numerous monographs in domestic and international journals, forming a high-quality talent team with high academic qualifications and reasonable professional echelons.
Equipped with complete imaging equipment and strong technical capacity, the department is furnished with large-scale devices including Philips digital radiography system (DR), Philips 64-slice CT, Philips 1.5T superconducting MRI, Philips DSA, Siemens digital mammography X-ray machine and dual-energy X-ray bone densitometer. Supported by the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), the department has introduced AI-assisted imaging diagnosis technology.
Routine services currently provided include:digital X-ray radiography of all body parts, bone mineral density measurement, mammography, X-ray angiography of digestive, urogenital and other systems, as well as DSA interventional therapy;non-contrast and multi-phase enhanced CT scanning of all body parts, coronary CTA, head and neck as well as thoracic and abdominal CTA; routine post-processing techniques such as multi-planar reconstruction of tissues and organs, three-dimensional imaging of bone and joints, and virtual endoscopy;non-contrast and multi-phase enhanced MR scanning of all body parts, magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP), magnetic resonance urography (MRU), magnetic resonance angiography (MRA), and functional imaging including diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) and magnetic resonance spectroscopy.
